Ukraine Challenge

VERTIIVKA

The congregation in the small town of Vertiivka began construction on a modest church building in 1997. This church has had three teams from NC and one team from Ukraine Challenge. Services were held with the Ukraine Challenge team in attendance in June, 2000 in the partially finished worship center that will seat 180 when finished with additional seating for about 50 in the balcony. Funds were left by the team this summer for the completion of the church. Vertiivka is about 2 hours driving time northeast of Kiev.
