The Nixon team performed a variety of ministries in western Ukraine. Vacation Bible School was the focus with the church in Borislav. Part of the team worked on a construction site in the Carpathian mountains, assisting national leaders and workers in building a permanent camp facility. Currently they are working on two dormitory buildings. In addition to these ministries they also worked with children in nearby orphanages.

The last two years the team has been joined by a church group from Ridgecrest Baptist Church in St. Charles, MO. This group has a special project working with senior adults in the Borislav area.
