"We celebrated Harvest day in Kagarlyk at the end of September, but preparation started weeks before. Church members met and pulled weeds, cut the grass and planted flowers. As you see on this picture, some bricks on the windows were ruined. The next week my wife and I repaired the windows and painted the trim. Also, some problems with the basement and chimney were fixed. After these work days, the building was ready and presented a good view to the village.

After all physical preparations and prayers, God blessed the church with a lovely Harvest celebration. There were about 20 guests. Good songs were sung, poems were recited, we had good preachers and we enjoyed wonderful fellowship at the table afterward in the Ukrainian tradition."
