Summer Overview 2009

What God can do through 55 volunteers

and a host of contributors and prayer partners!

Vacation Bible Schools & Camps 

Funded 17 camps lead by Ukrainian nationals.    

UC volunteers assisted in 16 other camps or ministry projects.

             Total camp ministry-33 different locations

Construction  

Provided Funds for 6 church construction projects.

Provided 2 Construction teams that worked at Ozera.

Scholarships 

Provided  University or Seminary scholarships for 4 students.

Pastor Support

Monthly financial support for 5 pastors.

Evangelism Projects

Provided $4000 funding for evangelism projects for the upcoming fall and winter.

Schools & Community Projects  

Provided funds for repairs to 4 village schools.

Worship 

Coordinators, Buddy & Janada Barnett assisted in worship services in 6 different churches, including one wedding.

Volunteers worshiped  and  participated in at least 14 different churches.

Participated in the first worship service held in the village of Ozera.

Physical ministry 

Food bags for 20 shut-ins and needy families.

Funding for Zdvishivka Children’s home.

Funding for Voronkov church’s monthly Food Program.

“Spin-off” ministries

Financial assistance to at least 10 families (housing and food funds from team members).

Economic assistance to one village restaurant (food for 2 teams).

Economic assistance to one seminary (food & housing for 2 teams).
